This playbook helps you find high-intent prospects right when they're talking about your competitors.

Find opportunities when:

  • Prospects ask for feedback from their network about your competitors

  • Prospects criticize your competitors (this is your chance to help!)

  • Your ICP reveals that they’re a customer of your competitor

Step 1: choose your keywords

If your competitors' brands are distinct words, you can simply search for them in quotation marks, such as “lusha” or “lemlist".

However, if your competitor has a generic name or is viral, you need to cut down the noise. Do this by adding a domain or an industry keyword to your search:

✅ Optimal keyword

“lusha”

“lemlist”

“product feedback”

"instantly.ai"

“clay” AND “sales”

❌ Too generic

“product management”

“instantly”

“clay”

Step 2: filter posts by ICP

A mention is only a lead if it comes from your ICP.

Every post author in Jungler is enriched with profile and company data, allowing you to filter out posts from anyone not in your ICP.

This also helps you iterate your searches. You can now see which keywords and competitors leave you with the highest volume of relevant posts from your ICP.

Step 3: automate outreach

Congratulations, you now have a list of high-intent prospects that refreshes with new leads daily.

Your next step is to connect Jungler to your sales tools to feed these leads into your outreach sequences, or get real-time alerts for new posts in Slack.
