How do I see who engages with my competitors?

Do I need to connect my own social account?

Accepted Answer

No. Jungler works from public data collected by third-party data providers. You don't connect an account, share cookies or install a browser extension. Jungler never logs in to or acts on your accounts.

What is a signal?

Accepted Answer

A signal is one profile, company page or keyword search that Jungler watches for you. Every 24 hours it picks up new posts and the people who react to or comment on them. Keyword signals capture the matching posts and their authors.

Starter includes 5 signals, the Discovery plan 15 and Growth 40. Mix profiles and keywords however you like, and swap them at any time.

Can I change my signals?

Yes. Pause or delete a signal at any time. Paused signals still count toward your plan's limit. Deleting one frees its slot but also removes its posts and engagers, so export anything you want to keep first.

A keyword signal's keywords can't be edited after it's created. To try different ones, duplicate the signal and delete the old one.

How quickly are new posts picked up?

Within 24 hours. Each signal checks for new posts once a day and captures their engagement in the same run.

How often is engagement refreshed, and when does it stop?

Accepted Answer

Jungler collects a post's engagement as soon as it finds the post. It checks again 24 hours, 3 days and 7 days after the post was published, each time on the signal's next daily run.

After the 7-day check it stops, so reactions and comments that come in later aren't captured. A check is skipped, at no cost, when the post has no new engagement. Posts that are already more than 7 days old when Jungler finds them are collected once.

How far back does Jungler go?

Up to a month. When you add a profile or company page, choose how much history to pull: none, the past week or the past month. Engagement is collected on posts up to a month old. For older posts, paste their URLs into Post engagement.

Keyword signals look back one month on their first run and pull up to about 250 of the newest matching posts. After that they pull up to about 250 new posts a day.

How many engagers can Jungler pull per post?

Up to about 3,400 reactions and 3,400 comments per post, plus the replies to those comments.

Why does my signal show no posts or engagers?

Accepted Answer

Usually the profile hasn't posted in the history you picked. If posts show but engagers don't, check the signal's settings: capture may be switched off, or the post may not match its keyword filter. Plain reposts show as "Not tracked", because Jungler only collects engagement on a person's own posts.

Also check your filters. An active filter can hide engagers you've already captured.

What data comes with each engager?

Name, profile URL, headline, job title, location, function and authority, plus company name, website, industry, size and HQ, and the work email when one is found. Each row also has the post URL, the reaction type or comment text, and when they engaged. In integrations you pick the fields under "Columns to sync".

Reactions are dated when Jungler collects them, because the time of a reaction isn't public.

Why does the same person show up more than once?

Every reaction and comment is its own row, so someone who engages with three posts appears three times. Switch the view to Unique, or export "Unique engagers", to get one row per person. Integrations send every engagement, so remove duplicates in Clay or your outreach tool.

How do I filter engagers by ICP?

Accepted Answer

Use the engager filters: region, function, authority, employment context (in-house, founder, freelance and so on), company size, industry, company HQ and company domain. Each of these can include or exclude. Two more switch on or off: Top Voice and "Has active job". Integrations have the same filters, so only the people who match get sent.

Can I capture only the engagers who match my ICP?

Accepted Answer

No. Jungler only knows someone's job and company once it has captured and enriched them, so ICP filters apply afterwards. Every captured engagement uses a credit, even from people you filter out later.

You can still limit what gets captured. In a signal's settings, capture only comments or only reactions, or collect engagement only from posts that mention (or don't mention) certain keywords.

Can I exclude specific companies or people?

Companies, yes: add their domains to the Exclude list of the company domain filter, in the app or on an integration. There's no exclusion list for individual people. Exclusions apply after capture, so excluded engagers still use credits.

Does Jungler find email addresses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Jungler looks up a work email for every engager and post author with a current job, automatically and at no extra cost. Exports and integrations include the email and its status: found, not found or pending. You can't plug in your own email provider.

Question 21

Can I track impressions, profile viewers or ads?

Accepted Answer

Impressions and profile viewers, no. They stay private to the account owner. You also can't see what someone reacts to elsewhere: Jungler captures engagement on the posts of the profiles you monitor.

Ads, partly. If a sponsored post has a normal post link, paste it into Post engagement to pull the people who reacted to or commented on it.

What formats can I export?

How do I write a keyword search?

Accepted Answer

Put exact phrases in quotes and combine them with AND, OR and NOT, in capitals. Group with brackets: ("cold email" OR "outbound") AND "AI". You can use up to 5 operators.

Specific beats broad. The keyword guide has examples, and we're happy to help write one in the chat.

Why does my keyword search find so little?

If it finds nothing, it's usually too narrow: check the spelling and try fewer terms. A few phrases, such as "open to work", never return results however you write them.

If it finds only a thin slice of what you expected, it may be too broad. Only the newest 250 or so matches come through per run, so narrow it with AND and a more specific term.

Do keyword signals capture engagers?

No, only the posts and their authors. To get the people engaging with one of those posts, open the post's menu and choose "Extract engagement", which sends it to Post engagement at the usual credit cost. There's no way to do this automatically for every keyword post.

What does the AI filter do?

Accepted Answer

It sorts the posts a keyword signal finds into Match and No match. You write the prompt, such as "only posts where the author is hiring SDRs". It only sorts what the keywords find. Changing the prompt re-runs the filter at 0.1 credit per post.

What is Post engagement?

Accepted Answer

Post engagement pulls the people who reacted to or commented on a single post, up to about 3,400 reactions and 3,400 comments. Paste the post URL, choose reactions, comments or both, and the list is ready in a few minutes. Every engager is enriched and can be filtered like signal engagers. Posts are kept in workbooks, which work like folders.

It pulls once. Click "Update engagement" to pull a post again later, or add the author as a signal to track their posts every day.

Does pulling a post again cost credits?

Yes. A post costs 1 credit when you add it. Every pull then costs 1 credit per engagement it fetches, including engagement an earlier pull already found. Signals only charge for new engagement.

Can Post engagement results go to my integrations?

Yes, to Clay and webhooks. Set up a Clay or webhook integration for Post engagement, and new engagement is sent about a minute after it's collected, or a few minutes later if you include the email column. For other tools, export the list.

What is Discovery?

Discovery is a directory of about 750,000 B2B creators, searchable by who engages with them. Pick your buyers' region, function, authority, company size or industry, and Jungler ranks creators by how much of their audience matches.

Use it to find creators to partner with or sponsor, or turn any of them into a signal and capture their engagers.

What is a profile open?

A profile open is how Discovery counts full creator profiles. Opening one uses one profile open, and going back to it in the next 30 days is free. Exporting creators uses one open for each creator you haven't opened in the last 30 days. Searching and saving creators don't use any.

The Discovery plan includes 100 profile opens a month and Growth 300. They reset every month and don't roll over.

Can I use Discovery on Starter?

Only a small preview: 10 searches showing 9 creators each, and 5 profile opens. It's whatever is left of your free trial's allowance, and it doesn't refill. Full search, monthly profile opens and creator exports come with the Discovery and Growth plans.

Which plan should I pick?

Accepted Answer

Starter if you want the people engaging with you and your competitors. Discovery if you also want to find the B2B creators your buyers engage with. Growth if you watch a whole market and need 40 signals and 300 profile opens.

Every plan includes all three kinds of signal, work emails, every integration and the API. Pick the credit tier that covers your volume. You can move up at any time, and the free trial lets you try it first.

What uses credits?

Collecting new data. Each new post a signal finds costs 1 credit, and so does each new reaction or comment on it. A post with 10 reactions costs 11 credits. Post engagement costs 1 credit per post you add, plus 1 per engagement each pull fetches.

Enrichment, work emails, viewing your data, exports and sending data to any integration are free.

Do I use a credit per person or per engagement?

Per engagement. Someone who reacts to and comments on a post uses 2 credits, and so does someone who reacts to two posts. A signal never charges twice for the same engagement, so refreshes only cost what is new.

How many credits do I need?

Accepted Answer

You don't have to guess. When you add a profile, Jungler shows "Credits / first run" and "Credits / month" before you start.

As a rule of thumb, a profile that posts 3 times a week, with about 100 reactions and comments per post, uses roughly 1,300 credits a month. Starter's 8,000 credits cover its 5 signals at that pace. Pulling the past month of history roughly doubles each profile's first month.

Why did my credits go so fast?

Accepted Answer

Almost always the first run. If you add a profile with the past month of history, Jungler pulls all of that month's posts and their engagers in one go. A big creator can have thousands of engagers a month. On a trial, the profile you enter when you sign up becomes your first signal, so its first run uses trial credits too.

Check "Credits / first run" in the create dialog before adding large profiles. After the first run, a signal only spends on new posts and new engagement, every month until you pause it. Pulling a post again in Post engagement charges for all of its reactions and comments, not just the new ones.

Question 38

Why did my new credits go right after my plan renewed?

Every active signal keeps running into the new period. A signal that paused when you ran out of credits picks up where it left off and collects what it missed, paid from your new credits. So does a signal you paused yourself, once you resume it. Before your plan renews, pause or delete the signals you don't need. To restart one without the backlog, add it again with "No historic posts" and delete the old one.

Why don't my credits match the engagers I see?

Usually a filter or the Unique view is hiding some rows. Clear your filters and switch the view to All to see everything that was collected. Credits also count posts, 1 each, not only engagement.

How can I use fewer credits?

Accepted Answer

Pick "Past week" or "No historic posts" when you add a profile. In the signal's settings, capture only comments, or collect engagement only on posts that mention your keywords. Pause or delete the signals you no longer need. There's no credit cap per signal.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Accepted Answer

You're never charged extra. Your signals pause until your credits renew or you pick a bigger credit tier. Everything you've already collected stays available and keeps syncing to your integrations.

How does the free trial work?

Accepted Answer

You get 7 days and 2,000 credits, plus a preview of Discovery. No credit card needed.

Nothing is charged when the trial ends. Jungler pauses until you pick a plan, and your data is kept for 6 months in case you do.

Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from Settings > Billing. Upgrades and switches from monthly to yearly apply straight away, and you only pay the difference. Downgrades, switches from yearly to monthly and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you've paid for.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes. Email team@jungler.ai within 30 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. The guarantee applies if you've used less than two thirds of a month's credits. The details are in our terms.

Should I pay monthly or yearly?

Yearly is 20% cheaper. You pay for the year in one payment and get the year's credits up front, to use any time during the year.

Where do I find my invoices?

In Settings > Billing > Invoices, where you can also change your card. To get your company name and VAT ID on invoices, tick "I'm purchasing as a business" at checkout.

How do I add teammates?

An owner or admin adds them in Settings > Team > Add new team member. Seats are free on every plan, and teammates share the workspace's signals, credits and integrations.

How do I sign in?

With Google, or with a 6-digit code we email you. There are no passwords, and SSO isn't available. If the code doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and request a new one.

Can I have more than one workspace?

Accepted Answer

Yes, by invitation. A workspace is created when someone signs up, and they can then invite you. Switch between your workspaces from the user menu. Each workspace has its own plan, credits and billing.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Deleting your account doesn't cancel your plan, so cancel it first in Settings > Billing. Then delete your login under Settings > Profile. A workspace can only be deleted by its owner, once its plan or trial has run out and every other member has been removed. If you don't want to wait, message us and we'll help.

Clay, Slack, Google Sheets and webhooks take posts and engagers. For outreach, send contacts to HeyReach, Expandi, lemlist, Instantly, Smartlead or Salesforge. Jungler can also email you digests of new posts, hourly, daily or weekly.

For anything else there's the REST API.

Will a new integration send data I've already collected?

Accepted Answer

Only if you ask it to. When you set up an integration for your signals, choose how much history to send: posts published in the last 24 hours, 7 days, 31 days or 3 months, with their engagers. Slack offers 24 hours or 7 days. After that it sends what's new.

This only decides what's sent, not what Jungler collects or charges. A signal you add to an existing integration only sends new data.

How quickly does new data reach my integrations?

Within about an hour. Jungler sends new posts and engagers from your signals every hour, and Post engagement results reach Clay and webhooks within about a minute. If you include the email column, rows wait for the email lookup first, usually up to 15 minutes.

Finding new posts is the slower part: a signal checks once every 24 hours, so a brand-new post can take up to a day to show up.

How do webhooks work?

Settings > Integrations > Webhooks. Choose posts or engagement, pick your signals and filters, and Jungler sends new rows to your endpoint every hour. If your endpoint times out or returns a server error, Jungler tries again for a while. Anything that still fails shows in the delivery history.

What can I do with the API?

Create, pause and delete signals, pull a signal's posts and engagers (one row per person if you want), and pull a single post's engagers through Post engagement. The app has no bulk upload for profiles, so use the API to add many at once. You authenticate with a workspace API key, made in Settings > Integrations.

Does the API cost extra?

No. Every plan includes the API, and so does the free trial. API calls use credits the same way the app does.

Can I send data to HubSpot, Salesforce or other CRMs?

Yes, through other tools. There's no native CRM integration, so send data through webhooks with Zapier, Make or n8n, through Clay, or build your own with the API.

How does Jungler handle GDPR?

Accepted Answer

Jungler is built with GDPR in mind. Data is stored in the EU and encrypted in transit and at rest, and the few transfers to US sub-processors are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. Our DPA and sub-processors are public.

Do you have SOC 2 or ISO 27001?
